Janny was born in the small town of Bloxwich in the West midlands England The eldest of two daughters. She began her stage career at the age of fourteen, and for ten years sang, played keyboards and guitar with a group called 'SPLASH OF COLOUR' A group that worked the clubs throughout the midlands and northern areas with much acclaim. After marrying , Janny spent a few years off stage, whilst always keeping in touch with the music business through local bands and performers. Now Janny is back on the boards once more as a self contained solo vocalist, with a state of the art sound system coupled with her experience and extensive repertoire of songs from the sixties to the nineties. Janny is now managed by her husband John, (Nobby) who also helps her by working as her sound engineer.
